Pseudomonas fluorescens · Root zone
BIOMICROBES 02 delivers Pseudomonas fluorescens directly to the root zone. The targeted formulation supports an active microbial environment around the root in professional soil and substrate crops.
Why this microbiology?
Pseudomonas fluorescens is one of the most widely studied bacteria of the rhizosphere. It establishes around the root and supports processes that matter for an active, well-nourished root zone.
Stimulates beneficial microbial activity directly around the root. Pseudomonas fluorescens moves through the root environment and attaches to root surfaces.
Supports biological processes that make nutrients in the root zone more available, including iron through siderophores.
Its versatile metabolism lets the bacterium adapt to the changing root environment and contributes to a well-functioning root zone as the basis for a vital crop.
Developed for targeted application through the root zone in soil, coco, peat and stone wool.
ROLE WITHIN THE MICROBIAL APPROACH
Microorganisms do not work in isolation in the root zone. This is how this microbiology fits within a broader microbial approach.
Apply BIOMICROBES 02 through the root zone at planting and during the growing cycle. Always follow the current product label for your market.

BIOMICROBES 02 can be used on its own. Growers who want to broaden microbial diversity around the root in a targeted way can complement the programme with BIOMICROBES 08 or ROOT-N.

Use within one growing programme does not automatically mean products can be mixed in the same tank. Ask for advice on the right use.
Frequently asked questions
Multiplication does not mean that an applied population stays present at the same level throughout the crop. Roots grow, conditions change and microorganisms compete for space and nutrients. The BM02 label therefore provides the application schedule that you use as your starting point. A repeat application does not prove that all earlier bacteria have disappeared; nor does a single application result in permanent colonization of the root zone.
BM02 contains Pseudomonas fluorescens; BM08 contains a different combination of microorganisms. That difference makes a complementary role conceivable, but does not prove an additional effect from using them together. First determine what the second product should add and test the program against that goal. Moreover, suitability within one crop program does not automatically confirm that both concentrates can go in the same tank.
