Application

Apply BIOMICROBES 08 through the irrigation system or as a surface application in the root zone. Shake well before use. The label advises continuous application with a low maintenance dose.

What is BIOMICROBES 08 for?

BIOMICROBES 08 is our most multi-species formulation for soil and substrate. The consortium of eight selected bacterial species supports a strong root system, efficient nutrient uptake and active biology around the root.

How does BIOMICROBES 08 differ from HYDROPONICS?

BIOMICROBES 08 is developed for growing in soil and substrate. HYDROPONICS is intended for hydroponic and recirculating systems, where the roots grow in a nutrient solution.

Can I store BM08 warmer because Bacillus can form spores?

For BM08, too, follow the storage instruction of 5–20 °C and protection from frost and direct sunlight. The fact that certain bacteria can form resistant spores does not automatically make the complete commercial formulation insensitive to heat. Resistance also depends on the life form present and the formulation. A species name on the label is not permission to deviate from the storage conditions.

Can I use BM08 as a solution for a diagnosed root disease?

BM08 is intended as a microbial biostimulant for the root zone. The label does not support treatment of a diagnosed root disease. Research on disease suppression by another Bacillus strain cannot serve as evidence for this product. If roots are affected, have the cause determined and choose an appropriate approach; supporting the root zone plays a different role than a proven disease treatment.
